Doberman Bone Cancer How Common Is Bone Cancer In Dogs?

How common is bone cancer in dogs? - doberman bone cancer

I'm shocked, are not quite my Doberman 6 years old put to sleep shortly after the diagnosis of bone cancer just 3 weeks earlier. It rises so fast, and he was in such pain. Is this normal?

  1. The large breeds like Great Danes and Irish greyhounds are prone to bone cancer called osteosarcoma. Osteosarcoma is the most common tumor of the bone is the dog. Seems to relate the size and breed of the dog is growing rapidly. When big dogs tend to grow faster than other breeds more inclined to small breeds below. The long-term prognosis is rather poor in terms of treatment, and most treatments for infected amputation and chemotherapy.
